"Labor Day Weekend Disaster Relief Fundraiser
Help DSL to do our part to raise funds for the Red Cross to use for
Hurricane Katrina Disaster Relief. Instead of running a Labor Day weekend
sale, 20% of all sales from now through midnight, Monday, September 5th will
be donated to the Red Cross. We thank you for your patronage of DSL & hope
that you will help us to help those in need.
Our thoughts & prayers go out to all those affected by the hurricane and
it's aftermath.

Silkweavers is doing basically the same thing, except that they are accepting money and/or items to bring to the shelters. Just send it down to them with attn: Disaster relief. If you want a copy of the email, I'll send it to you, just let me know. oh..and stitching bits and bobs has a couple of links to patterns where the funds go to the relief efforts.
