Happy Saturday

I spent most of today watching the football games and doing some stitching. This is my progress so far on L*K May.

I would have ahd it finished tonight but the yellow I need to fill in "May" and to do the last bird wasn't in the bag with the project. I know I have it so I'll just have to look for it in the morning.

Today was a pretty good mail day. I bought a piece of fabric from Carol a week or so ago and it turned up today. It must have taken the slow boat to get here Carol as it was postmarked the 3rd.

The fabric is a 28 count Lugana by Sugar Maple Fabrics called Peach Berry Cobbler. I also ordered from Down Sunshine Lane the WDW flosses I'll need to do the Brittercup Designs pattern that is in the new issue of the UK Cross Stitcher. I might start that one tomorrow once I finish May.

It sure did take the slow boat! Karen C received hers in the UK days ago - sent at the same time!

May is looking very cute, and your mail stash is great. The fabric is such a pretty color, do you have any idea what project you want to do on it?

I just got my copy of CrossStitcher in the mail yesterday, and really like the Brittercup kitty as well. I haven't done one of Brittercup's larger projects yet, but I did their Portrait of a Cat last year and turned it into a tuck pillow. It was a fun stitch.
