February Projects

I worked on my Lizzie Kate Feb 07 Flip-It today. I didn't get as much done on it as I would have liked as I got caught up most of today reading the new James Patterson book Cross that I got for Christmas. I got almost 1/2 of it read today. I wish I didn't have to go to work tomorrow so I could finish it.

I hope I can get the hart done quickly then move onto something else. So many things seem to be calling me right now I can't think of what to work on first/next.

I'm trying to be good lately and not get down/depressed. I always tend to get down around this time of the year. With Valentines Day coming up then my birthday I always seem to get sad. I think it's because I keep thinking of the things that I don't have that I want in my life. I try not to dwell on it. It's funny once my birthday gets here though I'm fine. I always take the day off work and either DH and I will go out if he can get the day off too or I'll have a ME day. Cause it's My day. :)

Hang in there, Jenn! The first few months of the new year is a depressing time for me too, regardless of Valentines Day and birthdays.
Love your LK piece!

Hang in there Jenn ! When is your Birthday ? Mine is March -1 and I always get a wee bit depressed at that time. I like the WIP.

Hope that you get over your blues...as women I think we all have them and understand :)

Love your LK flip-it!

A ME day sounds divine :)
I'd love to have a couple of those!

Good attitude :-) I am proud of you! Your LK is adorable! Go figure - if we had gotten past the Colts two weeks ago, we would be champs - the Pats would have walked all over the Bears the way they played last night - LOL! Ah, on to another season now!

Great start to February. Your stitching that is :o)

I definitely know what you mean about this time of year and birthdays. Just know there are others out there like you. Hang in there Jenn!

I'm a big fan of James Patterson but have yet to read that book. I'm just finishing up Mary Mary :O)

Those flip-its are so cute! I know what you mean about getting down about stuff, but I have found that if I focus on what I have, rather than what I don't, it completely changes how I feel about everything. Big hugs, girl!

I love the LK piece Jenn. I hate getting really into a book and not being able to finish it immediately.

A "me" day would be devine for my birthday but I don't think I can pull that off this year. We can celebrate together though - or at least close together!

The flip looks like it is off to a good start, and the worst part (at least to me as it is boring) of the month is finished. :)

This time of year it does seem easy to get down, it seems to create a time of reflection on what might have been. Hope you're feeling more cheerful soon, a me day sounds like it would be perfect.
