The Bleeding Heart

I did a little work on my LK Flip-it yesterday. I didn't get as much done as I would have liked as I got another headache in the afternoon and I didn't do any stitching when I got home last night. So what you see below is just what I did at lunch yesterday. (Well the red in the heart. The outline on the heart I did the other day.)

Today's SBQ was suggested by Danielle and is: Have you ever been to a stitching retreat?

I have been. The past 2 years I've gone to Celebration of Needlework in NH. I'm sooo looking forward to going back again this year.

I've not made any plans yet for my birthday (2 weeks as of tomorrow). I think I may just stay home and take it easy, relax and hopefully stitch. I've talked with my DH and I think on the 24th we are going to go to the casino for the day. I've been stressing on little things lately and I'm just hoping this doesn't make me sick like it did a few years ago around my birthday. Just need to keep thinking happy thought. :)

I hope you feel better soon! I really like these flip its, a friend of mine is working on the series as well.

I can't wait for Celebrations! My favorite retreat! They haven't posted prices (which is almost a good thing) but I've been scoping out some classes!

I'll certainly send some happy vibes your way Jenn!
Your LK flip-it is so cute!
A stitcher's retreat must be sheer heaven. But where would I find one here?

Looks like you'll be done with February pretty soon, it is looking very pretty. Hope your headache is better soon, and your stress goes down. Sometimes planning and doing absolutely nothing on a day is the prefect answer, that is what I like to do on my vacations. Whatever you decide to do (or not do), hope you have fun.

I read this: "Your birthday is a day just for YOU!"

Do celebrate it in a way that makes you happy.
Don't worry.
