Quick Weekend

This weekend seems to be going bo rather quickly. I didn't do much yesterday except for a little packing. Other than that I sat around and watched the college football and stitched. It was windy and rainy here yesterday but, not as much as I thought it would be.

I ordered from Silkweavers one of their Trick or Treat bags. I got the 28 and 32 count treat bag. The fabics that I got are 32 ct Opalescent Jazlyn Coco, 32 ct Belfast Linen Tropical Breeze, 28 ct Lugana Golden Promise, and 28 ct Opalescent Cashel Linen Skye. All of them are 13 x 18. They made a mistake on some of the packages they sent out. I was suppose to get 5 pieces of fabric but, I only got 4. I got an e-mail from Silkweavers before my package had even arrived telling me that the last piece was on it's way to me. I should have it tomorrow. I'm already planning on stitching Friends or Tess and Teddy by Sisters & Best Friends on Skye. Which ever one I do first I'll have to get another piece to do the other. Unless. I can fit them both on the same piece.....mmmmmmm.

Here is today's updated on Little Snap Dragon. The top part of his head except for around his ears is all done. I would have liked to have gotten more done but, I kept haveing to change my floss as I only needed to do a few stitchs with each color. Is that what they call confetti stitching? I was going to work on my Margaret Sherry pieces for the bathroom yesterday but, they just weren't calling to me from my stitching pile.

Nice to see you stitching again :-)

The SW fabrics are pretty. I looked at their treat bags this year and couldn't find one that I liked, at a price I liked.... big changes this year.

I'm loving the progress on Little Snap Dragon, and have him on order. I am so happy for you that the house situation has worked out. I too live in Connecticut, maybe sometime after you get settled into your new home we could maybe meet, do you know where The Thistle Needleworks is in Glastonbury? Well anyway have a great week and forge ahead with the packing (it's a great way to get rid of stuff too). Shirley

Yep that's confetti stitching I think... (as I'm not Englisch speaking...) ;o)

If it fits you should do both the snowfriends together on that one piece of skye fabric, they just would look so good together!

I hope your backpain is better now?
