Still Room for Two?

I spent a while today working on Room for Two?

That blue bathtub toom me forever to get done, and I knew it would. I'm so glad it's done. I should beable to get this one finished tomorrow durring the football.

The Durham Fair is next weekend and I dropped off 2 pieces. Christmas Fairy Elf and the Harry Potter Bear. It's fun to go and drop the pieces off and have a look around as they set up everything. I said to Paul it was so funny cause in 1 week from the excat moment we were there we'd be there next week and the place will be packed with people.

Once we got home I spent the aftermoon stitching and watching the Red Sox game. Every once in a while i'd put my stitching down and would pick up the Nora Roberts book I'm reading. The Key Trilogy. I'm on the first book Key of Light so far.

**I was looking at Ann's blog this morning and she has taken up the callange of HasturTorres of trying to finish 50 pieces before buying any stash (bar a few patterns she has to have and floss and fabric) the only way she can get new patterns is though trades or gifts. I am thinking I am going to take this challenge up also. It might just get me into the stitching mood again. I am almost back there but, still not quite yet. I can't think of anything out there that I HAVE TO HAVE, except for Little Snap Dragon and Amy at Down Sunshine Lane had ordered it for me. It's in I'm just waiting for the fabric she order to arrive (hopefully sometime next week) so other than that I think i'm good to go. I'm not going to set a time limit on this BUT I am gonig to put a shopping spree in the middle of it. I don't have any idea of how long it will take me to do this but I do plan on taking a 3 day break when I go up to Celebration of Needlwork next May to buy stash till I drop! :P AND I will be getting the last 2 of the Mirabilia fairies when they come out. Anyone else want to join me in this crazy challenge!?!

Wow, you've made great progress!!! Yay! Good luck at the fair - I wish I were free next weekend to come down and see your pieces hanging there! I bet you do well :-)

Good luck with your fair entries! I'm not quite ready to take the stash moratorium challenge, but am thinking that I might ease my way into it (think New Year's) :)

Great progress Jenn! I wish we had a fair around here, I miss going to them.

I don't think I will do the challenge per se, because it would take me forever at the rate I've been stitching LOL. I do think, however that I'm going to have to stop ordering anything until I have a least a few finishes. My stash has increased dramatically in the last 6 months with nothing finished at all, bad me! LOL

Woohoo, another one has succumbed to the dark side (the side of no new stash and pretty things) LOL. Welcome aboard - I have to admit I thought it sounded a lot, until I did a stash trawl and was stunned by how much I have on hand to stitch already hmmm. Look forward to following your progress :D {deep breath} We CAN do it! :D

I have thought about the 50 things-thing, but... not for too long.
I will follow your finishings though, with great interrest!

Sorry for not commenting so much, but my time is a bit limited lately...

Jenn,
It's coming along great. Good luck with your entries. I love the Harry Potter Bear! :-) I'm going to hold off on the stash break as well. There are just too many cute things out there. I'm still trying to work on getting my 101 in 1001 days organized. You will have to tell us how the fair goes. I can't wait for Celebration of Needlwork next May!!!!

OK not doing 50, but I'm going to do 25 on the no stash thing.
