Just a quick one

Here is my latest update on Halloween Fairy.

I wish I was more motivated to work on her but, with trying to sell the condo and the heat and now the rain is back. I just get home and night and don't want to do anything. Maybe taking it slowly stitching for a while is a good thing keeps me from burning out. I do have to agree with other people i've seen posting about working on this one. I do like the colors in it too. Easter Fairy is still my favorite for the colors - esp the blues in the flowers. Christmas Fiary Elf is my favorite off all of them.

I'm thinking of doing the 101 things in 1001 days . I'm working on a list now and so far I have 45 things. So if I can come up with another 55 i'm good to go! :P They keep coming to me little by little. I'd to kind of start it soon. So I'd better get it in gear.

I'm thinking of starting a Heaven & Earth Desing pattern. I'm not sure which one I want to do thought. Either Cry for Nature or Sleeping Beauty's Castle. I'm just not sure how to start it. I see everyone who has done one with threads hanging down. I guess they are starting a number of colors or a number of the same thread.

Thanks for the fairy update! :o)
We are also in a long heatwave.
And that doesn't help my stitching either, I hope it will cool down soon. :o)

Check out Nicki's Blog (Plush) I believe she is the one who did a tutorial on parking the threads only a day or so ago...

Every time I see the fairy, I become more convinced I need to do her someday.

Stay cool...the heat sucks the life right out of you. I know.

I thought about doing the 101 things, but I just can't bring myself to commit. Maybe you can inspire me. :)

I like the Sleeping Beauty chart the best...more power to you for doing it...holey moley I could never do one!

Jenn,
Halloween Fairy is really coming along. 101 things in 1001 days seems impressive but when it says 2.75 years, it sounds easier to do. Keep up the great work stitching, even if you are going slow. Hope the house hunting and condo selling are going well.
