Celebration and Framing

I'm sorry i've not been around much in the last week or so. I just felt like I didn't have anything to say. Even though I've not been posting I have been reading all your blogs. Everyone has been doing such lovely work.

This past weekend. I went to Celebration of Needlework in New Hampshire. I had a lot of fun and got to meet up with old friends and make a few new ones.

Mary and I shared a room together again this year and we had a lot of fun.

On Saturday we went out for lunch with Carol and Margaret. We went shopping at Colonial Needleworks
and had lunch at Shorty's Mexican Roadhouse. I had a great time ladies. Thanks for a wonderful afternoon!

Carol I can't believe you got tickets to the game on Saturday! I'm green with envy!!! Manny's 3 run HR must have been so great to see in person.

As some of you know from previous posts in my blog. I was in a RR a while ago. Everyone in the group got their RR back except for me. Mary was in the RR and she was so sweet to me. She had her RR famed and she gave it to me. Thanks so much Mary! You are wonderful friend!

While I was gone I got a call from the framers telling me the pieces I'd dropped off were ready to be picked up so I got them today after work. Here they all are. Sorry the pictures are taken at a bit of an angle but, I didn't want the flash to bounce back on the glass in the picture. I hope you all like them.

Your framings came out fantastic! And that was so sweet of Mary to give you her RR! I had fun with you this weekend - thanks!! Wasn't Manny's HR a solo one on Saturday? I thought it was... but after a while, the games all blend together :-)

Hi Jenn,

Saw you on San's forum and thought I'd drop by your site. Your pieces are lovely.

How horrible about your RR. That's somethings I've always been leary of. Mary is a true friend to give you her RR.

Jenn!
I love your framed pictures. I like the cat one too. It's so perfect to have a picture of Misha exactly like the stitching pattern.
I love the Harry Potter Bear too. I can't wait to start stitching it. Now just to decide on the material. I think for once I will choose something other than what it says to stitch it on. Imagine that...lol. I had a wonderful weekend as well. It was the perfect relaxing weekend which I needed after the weekend before.
Thanks for being there at Celebrations for me!!! I need to post in my blog soon too.
Happy Stitching!
Mary

The framing of your wonderful stitching really enhances it. I especially like the comparative photo of your kitty on the stove framed with the stitched kitty on the stove. Any burnt tails? ; )
