Almost Ground Hog Day

Since it's almost GHD here in the US I thought this year I would finally pick up the GHD freebie that I got from Bent Creek a few years ago. Every year I want to stich this piece but I seem to forget about it till after GHD.

Thanks to everyone who posted comments about my Christmas Elf Fairy Finish. I have a few pieces that are very close to being done so I should have another happy dance soon.

I found a picture of an on line stitching magazine called The Gift of Stitching on Jo's blog this morning and I thought it was every interesting. Has anyone seen this before? Jo do you subscribe to it? I'd like to but I'm a little worried that I won't like it since I can't look at it before I buy it.

I stitched that little ground hog last year and it turned out great! I love it and have it sitting out right now waiting for THE BIG DAY. LOL

Yours looks great! :D I always laugh at the way he looks, like he's either being held up or doing the big wave. ;)

Hi Jenn - yes, I have subscribed to Gift of Stitching - the first issue should be available 2/1.... it is out of NZ and has been 2/1 for a while now, but no issue yet!

I love that little guy. Of course being a neighbor of Phils, I appreciate groundhogs even more. I have this chart but where it is, eludes me.

I'd never ever heard about that Grounhog Day before the movie with Bill Murray (in which he lives the same day over and over), and I thought it was fake! Until I saw a Winnie the Pooh cartoon where they mentioned it as well, and then I knew it was true! LOL
This is such a cute tradition!
I love this freebie as well, thanks for the link, I might use it! You know, just to educate the French...
Take care!
