Stitching Saturday

There was a very bad accident here in CT durring yesterday morning's commute. I only mention this because it shows how quickly things can change in your life and how we never know what is going to happen next. So hug your loved ones and pray that something like this never happens again.

Paul and I went out and did some chores that needed to be done today. I dropped my
Two Shall be as One piece off at the framers today. I got the frame that is used in the model a week or so ago. I should have it back by the middle of the month. No rush as it will give me time to get a few pieces together to drop off to have framed when I pick it up.

Once we got home I got to do some stitching on a few pieces.

I worked on Mermaid Heaven for a while last night. I wanted to get a little done to try and catch up somewhat with Carol before she gets back to stitching on this piece again.

Mary got the kit for Frederick The Literate a few months ago. I had this piece in my WIP/UFO pile and I told Mary that when she was ready to start it I'd do it as a SAL with her.

Mary started her piece today. I didn't work on my piece but, here is a scan of what I'd gotten done when I originally started the piece a few years ago.

I think I'm going to have to work out a rotation where I work on one piece a night then maybe I bring a specific piece to work and only work on it there. I'll have to figure this all out after I finish the Harry Potter bear.

Jenn: Your projects are detailed! Wow. How creative & challenging. The HP Bear is lovely. I don't think I've ever attempted anything with so many color changes. Bet you and the graph have had many conversations ; )
