Getting Started

I've wanted to start a blog for a while now but, keep putting it off for one reason or another.
I want to mainly use this blog to talk about my stitching but, I'll probably vier off into any subject or get talking about how I'm feeling.

I guess I'll start with my Blog Title. I took it as a sort of play on words. I always like the 70's/early 80's punk band Generation X. I changed GenX to JennX and added the Stitch on the end. Silly I know but, It makes me smile when I hear it.

I stitched for a while today on St Paddy's Kitty Moon by Stitchy Kitty. It probably won't take me long to finish it providing that I can get all the flosses that I'm missing. With all the floss I have in the house I can't belive that I don't have all the colors I need for this piece.

I was going to work on Girl with the Pearl Earring today but, I have to be in a mood to work on that piece.

I'm so looking forward to going to Celebration of Needlework in April. The time for the trip can't come quick enough. There are so many things coming up that I just want time to move faster so they will get here. I know I shouldn't wish my life away but, at times nothing seems to make me happy so I just keep hoping that what I have planned for the next few months will do the trick.
