I've been working on a freebie I got last Halloween from San-Man Originals. It's called Kitty Magic.
I'm stitching it on 28 count Blue Diamonds Opalescent Lugana. I really like this fabric and I think i'm going to get a few more pieces of it. I have a some other patterns that I'd like to do on this. I think it has a very wintery feel to it. I hope all the purple and the yellow starts and moon in the hat won't take me as long as doing the cat did. I think he...or is it a she?.....took so long because I was affraid of having to do the french knots for the eyes. In the end I didn't like the way they were turning out so I used beads instead.
That was an adventure in it's self as most of my stitching stuff has been packed up so I didn't have my beading needle. I had do put the beads on by stringing the floss through the bead then putting it back on the needle.

What beautiful fabric. Your stitching is great too.
Kitty is cute, and the fabric is perfect! Have you ever tried a "Colonial Knot"? I prefer them to french knots and once you get the hang of it, it is so easy.
Quite an inventive way to get the beads on, lol!
:)
What a cute kitty.

What a cute cat piece!
Jenn your little kitty is just really darling!!! I am such an animal lover anyway and the kitty here has such a cute little face!! Thank you for your words of encouragement in my blog!
I read on the web that if your thread dye bleeds into your fabric, that we can rinse the fabric in ice water and it should come out.
Wish I had read that last Sunday!
Oh well I love the 32ct fabric I am doing this on now.
