I picked up Mermaids of the Deep Blue. Today and this is what I got done. I know it's not much but it's a start. :) using the magnifying glass really helped. I don't think I could stitch on the 32 count with out it.
I also brought Bun Warmer home this weekend from work but, I've not stitched on it. I hope this will be my next happy dance. Maybe by the end of this week.
I've also been working on Mermaid Heaven and I will try and post a new updated scan of her later tonight. Carol worked on hers this weekend too. She is so far a head of me but, I will keep plugging along on mine till she is done.
Here is what I got done tonight.
It's going to sound silly but, I think sometimes I work slowly on a piece is because I'm afraid to finish it. Like if it's done I won't have anything to work on after it so if I don't finish it I'll always have something to work on. Sounds stupid I know but, I think that is the only reason I don't get more large pieces done.
I went around the condo today and I found a bunch of patterns, magazines and fabric (along with some books) that I have put up on e-bay. I figure I don't need these things any more and they are just taking up space around here. I'm h opeing I can get enough money from selling these things to be able to get the new Mirabella fairy. I think it's a fair traid getting a ton of things out of the house and only bringing one back in. :) We call it lightening the load. LOL

I agree that getting rid of old stitching stuff in exchange for newer, bigger, better is always a great idea. ;) And you are doing a service to other stitchers out there that are looking for the stash you are done with! :D
